Fuchu Nature Park / Furusato Soseikan

A casual spot to enjoy flowers and greenery
The nature park (27 hectares) entertains visitors with flowers and greenery year round. There are the Kakugan-ji Temple and the Furusato Soseikan in the park. On a fair weather day, a panoramic view of the Tateyama Mountain Ranges and the Toyama Plains can be seen from the observatory of the Furusato Soseikan. There are historic sites nearby the park such as Chokushi-zuka, the second largest key-hole shaped tomb mound in Toyama, and Ohzuka-kofun, a nationally designated historic site.
