Exhibition of the history of Owara
The museum building is modeled as a traditional townhouse in Yatsuo. The exhibition mainly features materials and documents about Mr. Junji Kawasaki, who contributed a lot to the promotion of the Owara dance and is the founder of the Owara Preservation Society. He invited writers and artists including Hoan Kosugi and Ujo Noguchi to Yatsuo. The exhibits show his friendships with them and the history of the Owara. Festival films on the big screen with the highest grade sound system offer visitors a realistic Owara experience and make them feel as if they were in the circle of the dancers. |
